How do I check availability?

Once completed, please email maidie@bluefinswim.com and we will assign your child a level so you can book into a class.

What about your pool?
We are a 10 x 5m indoor swimming pool, heated to 33 degrees all year round.
Our pool is a unique Magna Pool. Magnesium has many benefits, alleviating aches and pains, soothing your skin and providing less skin irritation.
What should I expect for the first class?
You can park on Rocklea Drive or in our 8 space on site carpark. As you enter you will be greeted by a member of our staff on reception who will show you around the venue and introduce you to your swimming teacher.
How can I prepare my child?
Preparation is the key to success, as such we have created an age appropriate social story which you can show to your child before arriving to classes. We also have these books on our desk at reception.

What should I bring to our first class?
Parent and child classes: water nappy, swimwear and towel for both parent and child plus warm clothes for after the class.
Pre-School/School Aged Classes: swimmers need bathers, towels, goggles plus warm clothes for after the class.
What facilities do you have in your centre?
Our Port Melbourne facility has:

Do we pay by the term?
Yes, we run 4 x 12 week terms per year.
At Blue Fin, you pay upfront for the term. This confirms your place in the class for the term ( 12 weeks).
How long are classes?
Classes are 30 mins in length.
How much are classes?
Parent and Child Classes are $24 per lesson.
Pre-School and School Ages Classes are $26 per lesson.
(All lessons are paid and booked by the term).
What are the term dates in 2024?
Term 1: Monday 22nd of January to Saturday 13th of April.
Term 2: Monday 15th of April to Saturday 6th of July.
CLOSED: Monday 8th of July to Saturday 13th of July.
Term 3: Monday 15th of July to Saturday 5th of October.
Term 4: Monday 7th of October to Saturday 21st of December.
What happens if we miss a class?
We allow 3 make-up lessons term, if you miss a class you can mark your swimmer absent online and book a make-up lesson.
